Books available for purchase from Maggie at class. Fabric quantities are those needed to make the 16 blocks that we’ll work on during the workshop. Finished 16-block quilt with borders is approximately 36” x 36”. If you’d like to make a bigger quilt with 36, or 64 blocks, or you are taking this class for 2 or more days, you’ll need additional fabric… 8-10 fabrics - some ¼ and some ½ yard pieces, (preferably full-width, not fat quarters). Include a wide range of values from light to dark. A variety of print scales is also good. If you have trouble choosing, start with a multicolored theme print and add fabrics to go with it. Try to avoid a completely monochromatic selection.Option – select a project from the book and substitute your own fabric choices. Fabric requirements for the projects are listed in the book.
