New Way Life Mongolian Community Center

Please contribute towards operating and maintenance costs for the Center in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Mongolian women are offered classes in quilting, and may use the facilities to make items to sell.  Click here to read more about this project.

$40 covers the cost of transportation and food for a seamstress at the Center for one month.  $100 pays for supplies to make 50 aprons or tote bags. $150 pays for utilities and building maintenance fees for a month. $250 pays the salary for a seamstress or teacher for one month. A selection of handcrafted items made by women at the New Way Life Mongolian Quilting Center will be given as gifts to donors at these levels:

$75 - Tote-bag   $100 - Apron
         
$250 - 17" Silk table center-piece/hanging   $1,500 - Queen-bed quilt with single Ölzii and border design
         
$2,500 - Queen-bed multi-colored quilt with 20 Ölzii blocks     Please allow up to 8 weeks for delivery.
