Ohio Star Lattice – Supplies list Maggie Ball www.dragonflyquilts.com Basic sewing supplies (including thread, pins, scissors and seam ripper) Sewing machine in good working order and extension cord Iron and small ironing board (unless provided by the workshop host) Rotary cutter, mat, and ruler (6” x 24” Omnigrid recommended) Notebook, pencil and colored pencils Fabric: Minimum of five 1 yard pieces, including at least 2 light and 2 dark in value. Alternatively, half yards of a greater variety of fabrics. The pattern is open to interpretation, for example, all the stars may be different and linked with a uniform lattice, or light and dark stars may be alternated and any combination of fabrics used for the lattice. Students are encouraged to experiment and consider a variety of options including choosing a different 9-patch block.
